04 — Philosophy

Designed from the lot out.

Five considerations govern every drawing that leaves this studio.

  1. Site

    We begin with what the land already does well — grade, drainage, prevailing breeze, the view you paid for. The water takes its position from the site, never the other way around.

  2. Architecture

    The pool answers the house. Geometry, materials, and sight lines are drawn from the architecture so the finished work reads as original to the property.

  3. Water

    Stillness first, spectacle second. Edges, spillways, and hydraulics are engineered so the surface holds a reflection — and holds it quietly.

  4. Planting

    Structure from natives, restraint in the palette. The landscape is designed with the pool, not after it, so the whole composition matures together.

  5. Light

    Every project is designed for dusk — the hour it will actually be lived in. Fire, moonlighting, and underwater optics are on the first sketch, not the last.

05 — Process

A clear process for a complex build.

How we work
  1. Site Study

    We walk the lot before we draw a line — sun, grade, soil, sight lines, and how you actually live outdoors.

  2. Design

    Drawings and dimensional studies until the composition is right — water, structure, planting, and light resolved as one.

  3. Selections

    Stone, tile, finishes, and equipment chosen in person, with allowances stated plainly. No surprises downstream.

  4. Construction

    A dedicated project manager, our own craftsmen and trusted trades, and milestones you can hold us to.

  5. Handoff

    Commissioning, water chemistry, and a proper orientation — then a relationship that outlasts the warranty.
